Pimba's tip: make sure you first know what to do with each hand. Try the following:
- Explore all slurs.
- Choose a fingering that suits you.
- Check the chords you use in the song.
- Above all, make sure you know what the song should sound like!
- Then start practising each slur a few times, first with your right hand, and then the same group with your left hand.
- As soon as this works a bit, immediately play it a few times slowly with both hands together.
- Then start practicing the next slur in the same way.
When you start feeling tired, don't continue for too long. It’s better to continue again the next day. This is a very effective way of practising!
Tip: Listen once or twice to the song while reading the score. This is difficult, but a great way to make progress!
