It really takes a while before you can use all these chords in the songs you want to play. Fortunately, there are a few easy ways to quickly play a song with two hands.

• Instead of playing complete chords, you can play just the root note of the chord. It might sound a bit ‘emptier’, but at the other hand, you can usually play it faster. And that’s actually a great boost for your performance!
• You also can choose to omit the middle note of the chord. That does sound nice and full, but it is a lot easier to play. And…. you don’t have to worry about major or minor!
