Try practicing a song backwards once in a while. Hehhhh?? No, not literally backwards, but try starting with the last slur.
Play that slur a few times (in the usual order). And then practice the penultimate group (also in the normal order). And then the slur before that. And so on, until you get to the beginning of the song.
This way you avoid being able to play the beginning of a song well, but that the end becomes increasingly poor.
